10 pillars for our healthcare system of the future (perspective 2020): a summary

Like elsewhere our healthcare system suffers from the financial-economical crisis. In many countries, as in ours there have been fiscal measures to limit the growth of this sector. Such a purely budgetary approach holds a risk that the people who are in need of healthcare do not receive it. We do not succeed in offering the best health benefits to our population with available means and we cannot provide people from different socio-economical layers with an equal quality. This is why Fellow Lieven Annemans proposes 10 key measures which should be realized by 2020.
