Good governance: the conditions to succes

Good governance is a very extensive concept which relates to both the tasks of the government, the reached result and also the way a result was pursued, as the cost of it. Obviously,  good governance is on the agenda of Itinera. Governments and their activities are important, because of their democratically legitimated directing interventions, what they determine their priorities and objectives with. Also because governments determine the essential frame of prosperity creation, investment initiative and welfare reorganization.

This report discusses the organization of the civil service, in terms of responsability and efficiency. With this, actual standards like transparency, responsability and account appear - collective as well as for a service or an individual state officer. These elements of good governance that, in reality, are important for goverments and the private sector. That's the focus of this report.
