Health Care finance models being analyzed

The financial sustainability of health care for both the society and the individual patient is under pressure. This is the case for all countries, including Belgium. Especially chronic care will prove to be a challenge to cope with. Other countries have diversified their financial resources for care to ensure that as many as possible different funds are leveraged, that financial accessibility is safeguarded, and that responsiveness to individual preferences is retained. In Belgium these reforms however have remained absent. Itinera gives in this analysis therefore some key recommendations for our health care system.
